Owner and founder, Janet Marlow has a passion for music and pets and decided to combine the two and created Pet Acoustics. As a musician, she was able to create music and tune it for different species of pets and use it as a calming mechanism. Played through a speaker, pet owners could calm their pet with her music anywhere they went. In addition, to the Pet Acoustics speaker Janet created the Safe & Sound line for cats which included the cat tunnel, cat crate liner and pet bed. All products designed to calm cats on-the go.

Pet Acoustics turned to The Impetus Agency for the launch of the Safe & Sound line and streamline the branding on their social media channels to be consistent across all platforms. In addition, we assisted in establishing Janet as a thought leader in the pet anxiety category.

The Results

We conducted media outreach at the pet industry’s largest annual tradeshow Global Pet Expo to announced the launch of the Safe & Sound product line. We set up over ten interviews with members of the media while at the 3-day show and secured Janet a live segment with Good Day Orlando on-site.

We launched an Instagram account to further amplify the brand and share success stories about Pet Acoustics products.

In addition, we secured national media coverage including an article in The Honest Kitchen blog and pet trades. This coverage has resulted in over 500,000 reach and over $85,000 in publicity value.
