Bark at the Park is a promotional event created by the Major League Baseball (MLB) in which fans are encouraged to bring their dogs and let them experience a day at the ballpark. In total there are over 20 Bark at the Park events throughout the country. These events include a pre-game dog parade, dog-friendly activities including a sketch artist, giveaways and more.

Our client, the American Pet Products Association through its Pets Add Life campaign became a sponsor at a Bark at the Park game at Oriole Park in Baltimore, MD. We coordinated pre-game promotions and on-site giveaways as well as staff the event to increase brand awareness of Pets Add Life. We designed creative and useful PAL branded promotional giveaway items which included clear logoed stadium bags, pens and a handout about the website and pet quizzes available on the website.

The Results

Through our on-site presence at Bark at the Park we were able to increase brand awareness and educate game attendees about the Pets Add Life campaign. We took hundreds of photos of fans for our social media channels. We also secured a segment on the local FOX affiliate to talk about Bark at the Park and PAL’s involvement. We also aired a Pets Add Life commercial on local news stations in conjunction with the game.
